North Texas Blind Soccer was invited to attend the First Annual Blind Soccer Grassroots Educational Summit in Staunton, Virginia hosted by The U.S. Association Of Blind Athletes in conjunction with The Virginia School for the Deaf and The Blind and Clemson University.

It was an exciting and educational three days for us, we learned many new tactics and drills that that we will implement for our adult players and modify for use in our youth development program.

We made many new connections and met so many great people all with the same objective of advancing the sport of blind soccer. Many thanks to everyone at The Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind who went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
